Research & Development
In line with our business model, we have a strong and dedicated Research and Development (R&D) Department. Our R&D is focused on methods in the field of pharmaceutical analyses, drug development and development of large scale production technologies of natural substances and their derivatives.
Analytical Methods
We cover the following methods:
- LC/MS, GC/MS, HPLC, TLC
- particle size distribution by laser diffraction and image analysis
- X-ray powder diffractometry
- elemental analyses
- semi-preparative HPLC, column chromatography
- derivatization techniques (e.g. for chiral separation)
- NMR, infrared and UV spectroscopy
- titration (volumetric, coulometric)
- dissolution
Analytical Applications
The application of the above presented methods is utilized in a large area of research such as:
- development of analytical methods for assay and purity of chemical substances and dosage forms
- development of LC/MS methods for determination of trace levels of organic impurities in chemical substances and dosage forms
- identification of synthetic or degradation impurities in chemical substances and dosage forms
- isolation of selected components from complex mixtures (e.g. impurities from drugs, reaction mixtures, etc.) by means of different separation techniques including column chromatography, extraction, preparative HPLC or TLC
- stress studies of drug substances (degradation with chemical agents, elevated temperature and/or humidity, UV and VIS light, etc.)
GMP laboratory
We are co-founders of a GLP/GMP laboratory in Olomouc, Czech Republic, generating the necessary pharmaceutical data of our compounds. In addition, the laboratory is offering high quality and timely active ingredient and drug analysis to third party pharmaceutical companies.
