A. Programme: Inovační vouchery v Olomouckém kraji (Innovation Vouchers in Olomouc Region)
Purpose of the Programme: Účelem dotace je umožnit spolupráci výzkumných organizací a firem z Olomouckého kraje - The purpose of the grant is to enable collaboration between research organizations and companies from the Olomouc region. The innovation vouchers programme is conducted by the Olomouc Regional Authority with the aim to stimulate science-industry links resulting in strengthening of the regional economy. The programme supports small and medium enterprises located in the region, which can receive grants up to nearly €6,000 covering 75% of eligible costs. Vouchers can be used for purchase of product development, process innovation, testing, measuring, analysis, marketing strategies etc. More information available at https://www.kr-olomoucky.cz/inovacni-vouchery-cl-1090.html.
Grant Request: The innovation lies in the development of new technologies for the preparation of purine derivatives of required properties, the development of affordable technology, including authentication technology transfer into production and further development of methods to characterize the properties of pilot batches.

Name of Project: MedChemBio Cluster
MedChemBio Cluster's purpose is to conduct R&D in the areas of biologically active
substances, specifically substances that may find application in human and veterinary
medicine as a medicament. The MedChemBio Cluster will be a key intermediary between
academic institutes, small and medium-sized companies (as well as large firms),
suppliers, investors, professional and manufacturing enterprises in the development,
testing and production of medicaments, thereby further the development of medicinal
and biological chemistry in the Czech Republic.

Grant application to: Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic
A. Programme: European Social Fund, Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme Period 2007-2013 (ECOP)
Purpose of the Programme: To strengthen the growth of the Czech regions' competitiveness and the orientation towards a knowledge economy, and to create highly qualified workplaces to help make the Czech regions important locations for competitive research and development, enterprise innovation, the increasing quality of its human resources and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) within the EU.
Grant Request: To strengthen the growth of competitiveness and the orientation towards a knowledge economy in the area of pharmacy and biotechnology at Palacký University in Olomouc. Aim of the project is to concentrate on: (i)collaborations with EU laboratories, (ii)exchange of students, (iii)lectures of invited speakers, (iv)organization of national and international conferences and (v)co-operations with spin-off firms in pharmacy and biotechnology.
